It is so crazy to think that the year is over! it seems like just a little while ago we were celebrating the 2008 new year. Luckily, the year has not yet snuck by us and we have this opportunity to reflect on the past year. so here are our nine divine times of the year 2009 in chronological order:
1) Derek received his diploma from the University of Wyoming.
Officially graduating with a BA degree in Geography.

2) We celebrated our 1 year anniversary in May with a trip to California (Disneyland & Universal Studios) and Las Vegas 
3) In June I finished up my last class and in August officially graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BA in Math Secondary Education.

...fearless puppy! 5) In July it was official I got my first teaching job in Lyman, Wyoming teaching math to 7th graders and science to 8th graders!
6) In October Derek got his hunting license and shot a 4 point mule
deer and a 5 x 6 elk. We were estatic because we had something to fill our deep freezer with!
7) On November 1 we closed on our house and moved in!
8) We hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house with my whole family and derek's! that was a houseful or maybe i should say garageful since there wasn't enough room inside, but alot of fun!
9) Lastly Christmas vacation! Being a school teacher has its advantages around holidays and during the summer, so it has been nice because derek saved all his vacation days and took off the two weeks i had off and we were able to spend lots of time together. the year has sped by so it is nice to just spend some relaxing time together...
