1. Where did you meet your husband?Funny story actually. I don't remember the first time i met him cuz it was my second day here in laramie (for the second time... i took one semester here, hated it, quit school and soccer, got married, got divorced, came back) and for an institute activity we were playing football and i met a million boys that day...
anyway i had a class with this boy mike who was derek's roommate and i went over one night to do some english homework with him and thats when i met derek. The first thing he said to me was: 'i like your shoes...' they were pretty stylish shoes so i thought i would remember this boys name and maybe look him up again in the future. after i finished my homework mike and derek begged me to stay and watch football and have a bbq but i told them i couldn't (secretly it was cuz i had another date) so i drove home got freshened up and phil came and picked me up. turns out my date with phil consisted of going to a friends house for a bbq and football. small world. i was back a t mike and dereks house... that was a little embarressing.
2. How long did you date before you were married?
We started dating in Sep. 2006 ish and we got engaged Feb. 14, 2008 then married on May 8, 2008 so about a year and a half
3. How long have you been married?
about 8 months
4. What does he do that surprises you?
Everything. I always try to find out surprises he has planned but he is too good at keeping secrets! But mostly whenever i am having a bad day or i am really stressed out he will buy me a card and some flowers. I know it seems superficial but it always seems to do the trick.
5. What is his best feature?
He has perfect hair. It has like 12 different colors in it and i can only hope our kids can be as lucky!
6. What is his best quality?
There are so many... but one that i appreciate alot is he takes good care of himself. He loves to go to the gym and do active activities like me. We play raquetball, tennis, run, lift, football, etc together and we are competitive so it is really fun. he eats really healthy and cooks good food.
7. Does he have a nickname for you?
not really.
8. What is his favorite food?
He likes everything... but his favorite is chinese, but that also happens to be my least favorite, so we compromise and eat at panda express.
9. What is his favorite sport?
he played tennis in high school, he likes to watch me play soccer, and football
10. When and where was your first kiss?
in october in his bedroom. i was his first kiss and am going to be his last!
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
play nintendo or workout together
12. Do you have any children?
no not yet. i told him we have to get a house first.
13. Does he have any hidden talents?
He is great at doing laundry :)

Derek did... he actually said it 3 times before i said it back.
The first time: i pretended to be a sleep
The second time: i told him i had to go to work and left him alone at my house... and was 2 hours early for work
The last time: in my head i was thinking just say it, say it now, right now, but i couldn't get the words out and somehow he read my mind and said it to me first. and i said i love you too!

17. What do you admire most about him?
he is a planner and a doer. what he says he will do he does... ALWAYS!

green and blue
